3 A RESOLUTION TO AMEND LITTLE ROCK, ARK., RESOLUTION
4 NO. 10,428 (DECEMBER 15, 1998) TO INCREASE THE DAILY
5 STORAGE FEE FOR VEHICLES STORED AT THE LITTLE ROCK
6 IMPOUND FACILITY TO TWENTY -FIVE DOLLARS ($25.00) PER
7 DAY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the City operates an impound facility that currently charges twenty-
10 three dollars ($23.00) per day for storage, and after a survey of surrounding facilities it
11 was determined that twenty -five dollars ($25.00) is an appropriate charge and will help
12 to defray some of the costs of operation of the facility,
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
14 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. Little Rock, Ark., Resolution No. 10,428 (December 15, 1998), as amended,
16 is hereby amended to authorize the City Manager to increase the daily storage fee from
17 twenty -three dollars ($23.00) per day to twenty -five dollars ($25.00) per day.
18 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence,
19 clause, phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or
20 unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining
21 portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so
22 declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the
23 resolution.
24 Section 3. Repealer. All resolutions, bylaws, and other matters inconsistent with
25 this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
