A RESOLUTION TO SET NOVEMBER 9, 2004, AS THE DATE FOR A PUBLIC
HEARING ON WHETHER TO CLOSE SUMMIT ROAD FROM WOODLAND
HEIGHTS ROAD TO FAIRVIEW ROAD; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a proper petition has been filed on whether to close a portion of Summit Road
from Woodland Heights Road to Fairview Road, and state law mandates that a public hearing
be held on this question and the notice be properly published,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. The date of November 9, 2004, at 6:00 pm in the Board Meeting Room on the
Second Floor of City Hall, Little Rock, Arkansas, is hereby set as the date and time for a public
hearing on the question of whether to close a portion of Summit Road from Woodland Heights
Road to Fairview Road.
Section 2. The City Clerk is directed to publicize notice of this hearing in accordance with
state law.
Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause,
phrase, or word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such
declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall
remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional
was not originally a part of the resolution.
Section 4. Repealer. All laws and parts of laws inconsistent with the provisions of this
resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
