12 WHEREAS, the International Union of Operating Engineers has offered to donate a remnant of land "'t`
13 located west of Interstate Highway 430 and south of Stagecoach Road within the floodway of the Fourche
14 River; and,
15 WHEREAS, this land is contiguous to other City lands and is desirable to acquire for use as park and
16 open space lands, and for other public purposes and it is desirable to accept this donation.
17 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
18 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
19 Section 1. The Mayor and City Manager are hereby authorized to accept the donation and title to the
20 property described as follows:
21 A part of the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 33, Township 1 North,
22 Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, described as beginning at a point 277.13 feet
23 East of the southwest corner of the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter, Section 33,
24 Township 1 North, Range 13 West, thence South 87° East 314.25 feet to the west right-
25 of-way line of Interstate 430, thence North 5° 37' East 470.14 feet, thence South 49° 8'
26 19" West 293.99 feet, thence South 80°55'12" West 130 feet, thence South 2°14' West
27 238.6 feet to the point of beginning, containing 2.47 acres, more or less, all in Pulaski
28 County, Arkansas, now in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas.

30 Section 2. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
31 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
32 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
33 effect a if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
34 ordinance.

1 Section 3.Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same that are inconsistent with
2 the provisions of this resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
