HomeMy WebLinkAbout19253ORDINANCE NO. 19 , 2 5 3 AN ORDINANCE RECLASSIFYING PROPERTY LOCATED IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. That the zone classification of the following property be and is hereby changed as indicated: Z- 6973 -B — A part of the East 150.00 feet of the SW '/4 NW '/4, Section 21, T -1 -N, R -13 -W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described as: Starting at the NE corner of said SW '/4 NW '/4; thence S01 144'35" West along the East line thereof 196.20 feet; thence N87 124'40" West, 35.25 feet to the West right -of -way line of Bowman Road and the point of beginning; thence southwesterly along said West right -of -way line being the arc of a 788.57 foot radius curve to the right, a chord bearing and distance of S 17'49'13" West, 414.34 feet to the West line of said East 150.00 feet; thence NO1 °44'35" East along said West line 564.27 feet to the South right -of -way line of Colonel Glenn Road; thence N69 °17'52" East along said South right -of -way line, 4.91 feet; thence along the west right -of -way line of Bowman Road being the arc of a 70.00 foot radius curve to the right, a chord bearing and distance of S54 °03'24" East, 116.94 feet; thence S02 °35'20" West along said West right -of -way line 68.35 feet; thence S87 °24'40" East and continuing along said West right -of -way line 15.00 feet; thence S02 035'20" West and continuing along said west right -of -way line, 33.71 feet to the point of beginning containing 1.0875 acres more or less: From "R -2" Single Family District to "C -3" General Commercial District (Southwest corner of Colonel Glenn and David O. Dodd Roads). SECTION 2. That the map referred to in Chapter 36 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, and designated district map be and it is hereby amended to the extent and in the respects necessary to affect and designate the change provided for in Section 1 hereof. SECTION 3. That this Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force 30 days after the date of its passage and approval. SECTION 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or word of this ordinance is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the ordinance which shall remain in full force and effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional was not originally a part of the ordinance. SECTION 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
