2 A RESOLUTION TO SET DECEMBER 5, 2005, AS THE DATE OF
3 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON A PORTION OF
4 THE MANNEY ROAD RIGHT -OF -WAY BETWEEN BLOCKS 3 AND
5 14, BELLEVUE ADDITION, IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AS
6 PUBLIC RIGHTS -OF -WAY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
7 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the
8 Board of Directors vacate and abandon a portion of Manney Road right -of -way between
9 Blocks 3 and 14, Bellevue Addition as public right -of -way, pursuant to its general police
10 power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14 -54 -104, in the City of Little Rock.
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
12 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
13 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above - mentioned
14 right -of -way shall be held at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little
15 Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six o'clock on the 51" day of December, 2005.
16 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in
17 the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for two consecutive weeks in
18 a newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having a general circulation
19 in the City of Little Rock.
