A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO LASITER
CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR SAM PECK RD. (CANTRELL S. 500')
4 STREET CONSTRUCTION PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
5 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for the street reconstruction of Sam Peck Rd.
6 (Cantrell S. 500', Bid No.05 -315; and
7 WHEREAS, Lasiter Construction, Inc. submitted the lowest responsible and
8 responsive bid, in the amount of $459,427.70 ($417,661.55 plus 10% contingencies).
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
10 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
11 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
12 Lasiter Construction, Inc. for street reconstruction Sam Peck Rd. (Cantrell S. 500'), under
13 Bid No.05 -315.
14 Section 2. 2004 Bond Funds are available for Sam Peck Rd. (Cantrell S. 500') in
15 314 - 220 -SR20 with supplemental funding from 314 - 220 -SR01 and 314 - 220 -SR05, in the
16 amount of $459,427.70 ($417,661.55 plus 10% contingencies).
17 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
18 of its adoption.
