3 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO TOWNSHIP
4 BUILDERS, INC. FOR STREET AND DRAIN RECONSTRUCTION OF
5 MARYLAND AVENUE (BROWN TO CEDAR) RECONSTRUCTION
6 PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for the street and drain reconstruction of
9 Maryland Av. (Brown to Cedar), under Bid No.05 -326; and
10 WHEREAS, Township Builders, Inc. submitted the lowest responsible bid;
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
12 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
13 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
14 Township Builders, Inc. for street and drain reconstruction of Maryland Avenue (Brown
15 to Cedar), under Bid No.05 -326.
16 Section 2. 2005 CDBG funds are available for street and drain reconstruction of
17 Maryland Avenue (Brown to Cedar) in NHSP- 108 -B004 in the amount of $644,461.40
18 ($585,874.00 plus 10% contingencies).
19 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
20 of its adoption.
