3 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO CONSTRUCTION
4 MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE, INC., FOR SIGNAL
5 INSTALLATION WESTERN HILLS RD. AT COLONEL GLENN RD.
6 PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for the installation of a signal at Western Hills
9 Rd. at Colonel Glenn Rd., Bid No. 05 -306, and
10 WHEREAS, Construction Management and Maintenance, Inc. submitted the
I 1 lowest responsible bid, in the amount of Ninety -four Thousand, Three Hundred Eighty -
12 nine Dollars and 75/100 Dollars ($94,389.75).
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
14 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
15 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
16 Construction Management and Maintenance, Inc. for installation of a signal at Western
17 Hills Rd. at Colonel Glenn Rd.
18 Section 2. Funding for this project is available from the 2004 Bond in account
19 314- 220 -TS18. Amount for construction services: $103,828.73 ($94,389.75 plus 10%
20 contingencies).
21 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
22 of its adoption.
