2 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO LASITER
3 CONSTRUCTION, INC. FOR MELLWOOD DR. DRAINAGE
4 CONSTRUCTION PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
5 WHEREAS, bids were solicited for the street reconstruction of the Mellwood Dr.
6 Drainage Construction Project, under Bid No.05 -318, and
7 WHEREAS, Lasiter Construction, Inc. submitted the lowest responsible and
8 responsive bid in the amount of Three Hundred Eighty -nine Thousand, Three Hundred
9 Eighteen and 60/100 Dollars ($389,318.60), being $353,926.00 plus 10% contingencies;
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
11 THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
12 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with
13 Lasiter Construction, Inc. for drainage improvements in the Mellwood Dr. Drainage
14 Construction Project, under Bid No.05 -318.
15 Section 2. 2004 Bond Funds are available in Account No. 314 - 220 -DP04, in the
16 amount of Three Hundred Eighty -nine Thousand, Three Hundred Eighteen and 60/100
17 Dollars ($389,318.60) ($353,926.00 plus 10% contingencies).
18 Section 3. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date
19 of its adoption.
