3 A RESOLUTION TO SET SEPTEMBER 17, 2013, AS THE DATE OF
4 HEARING ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON TWENTY-FOUR (24)
5 STREET AND ALLEY RIGHTS-OF-WAY LOCATED NORTH OF THE
6 CLINTON NATIONAL AIRPORT (ALONG THE NORTH AND SOUTH
7 SIDES OF EAST 9TH STREET (G-23-439), IN THE CITY OF LITTLE,
8 ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
11 vacate and abandon twenty-four (24) street and alley rights-of-way located north of the Clinton National
12 Airport, along the north and south sides of East 9th Street, pursuant to its general police power authority
13 under Ark. Code Ann. §14-54-104;
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above-mentioned right-of-way shall be held
17 at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six
18 o'clock on the 17`h day of September, 2013.
19 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
20 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
21 County, Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
