A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE
PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF SEVENTH STREET
described as follows:
Starting at the SE corner of the Fowler Block,
Stevenson' s Addition, Little Rock, Arkansas;
thence N 83° 00 ' W along the South line of said
Fowler Block, 176 ' to the point of beginning;
thence S 7° 00 ' W 12 ' ; thence N 83° 00 ' W parallel
to the South line of the Fowler Block, 300 ' ;
thence N 7° 00 ' E 12" to the South line of the
Fowler Block; thence S 83° 00 ' E along said South
line, 300 ' to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS , a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas ,on the 14th
day of December , 1981, asking the Board of
Directors to vacate and abandon that portion of Seventh
Street described as follows :
Starting at the SE corner of the Fowler Block,
Stevenson' s Addition, Little Rock, Arkansas;
thence N 83° 00 ' W along the South line of said
Fowler Block, 176 ' to the point of beginning;
thence S 7° 00 ' W 12 ' ; thence N 83° 00 ' W parallel
to the South line of the Fowler Block, 300 ' ;
thence N 7° 00 ' E 12" to the South line of the
Fowler Block; thence S 83° 00 ' E along said South
line, 300 ' to the point of beginning.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held
at the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at
7 : 30 o' clock P.M. , on the 19th day of January
198 2 .
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by
publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a
newspaper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and haying
general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
