WHEREAS, Mr. John Langston has devoted three years of his career
and service to the City of Little Rock as a member of the Board of
Directors, and
WHEREAS, during his service as a City Director,
John Langston has helped guide the City through an unprecedented
period of growth, and
WHEREAS, John Langston has distinguished himself through the
conscientious and professional manner in which he has pursued the
interests of the City, and
WHEREAS, John Langston' s service to the City has been marked with
a constant search for efficiency and effectiveness and a genuine
desire to make Little Rock' s government the best ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION I . The Board of Directors, on behalf of all the citizens
of Little Rock, recognize the dedicated service of Director John
Langston and do express their appreciation to him for his
contributions to the City of Little Rock.
SECTION II . Whereas , John Langston is to be particularly
commended for his unabashed and zealous work between the hours of
11 :00 p .m. and 7 : 00 a .m. , as Associate Member of the Little Rock
Police Department.
SECTION III . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
