RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A WARRANTY DEED
CONVEYING A CERTAIN TRACT OF LAND IN FAVOR OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK FOR THE USE AND BENEFIT OF THE SANITARY SEWER COMMITTEE FOR
THE PURPOSE OF UTILIZING SAID TRACT OF LAND IN CONNECTION WITH
THE PROPOSED PUMP STATION NO. 2 WHICH IS TO BECOME A PART OF
THE PROPOSED FOURCHE SEWERAGE FACILITIES.
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Little
Rock that a certain tract of land containing 0. 54 acres more or
less be conveyed to the City of Little Rock for the use and
benefit of the Sanitary Sewer Committee for the purpose of being
utilized in connection with the proposed pump station No. 2 to
become a part of the proposed Fourche sewerage facilities and
that said conveyance be approved and authority be granted for
the Mayor of the City of Little Rock to execute a Warranty Deed
in favor of the City of Little Rock for the use and benefit of
the Sanitary Sewer Committee, said tract being more particularly
described as follows :
A tract of land situated in the NE 1/4 of the NW 1/4 of
Section 22 , Township 1 North, Range 12 West, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, being more particularly described as follows :
Commencing at the Northeast corner of said NW 1/4 of
Section 22 , T-1-N, R-12-W, thence along the Eastern line
of said NW 1/4 S 02°53 ' 38" W 347 . 59 feet; thence
N 87°06' 22" W 31. 58 feet to an iron pin, said iron pin
being the Point of Beginning; thence S 73°49 ' 56" W 159 . 95
feet to an iron pin; thence N 16°10' 10" W 80. 02 feet to an
iron pin; thence N 42°50' 33" E 152 . 56 feet to an iron pin;
thence S 86°51' 44" E 80. 00 feet to an iron pin; thence
S 03°09' 31" W 410 . 01 feet to the Point of Beginning; con-
taining 0. 54 acres (23 , 515 S .F. ) , more or less.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The proposed conveyance of the tract of land
described herein is hereby approved and authority is hereby
granted to the Mayor of the City of Little Rock to execute a
Warranty Deed in favor of the City of Little Rock for the use and
benefit of the Little Rock Sanitary Sewer Committee upon the
terms and conditions contained therein and to do all other
acts necessary and incidental in connection therewith.
