RESOLUTION NO. 6 ,497
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND THE CITY CLERK
TO SIGN A DOCUMENT ENTITLED "ARKANSAS POWER & LIGHT COMPANY
RIGHT OF WAY PERMIT" THEREBY GRANTING AN EASEMENT ACROSS
GILLAM PARK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, Arkansas Power & Light Company has prepared a
document entitled "Right of way Permit, " the purpose of which
is to grant an Easement to Arkansas Power & Light Company
across a portion of Gillam Park to be used for supplying
electric power to the Arkansas Department of Highways and
Transportation, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to grant the above described Easement to allow Arkansas Power
& Light Company to perform the necessary work in the area of
Gillam Park, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I. The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
authorized to sign, on behalf of the City, a document entitled
"Arkansas Power & Light Company Right of way Permit, " a copy
of which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" , thereby granting
an Easement across Gillam Park to Arkansas Power & Light
Company.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
