A RESOLUTION APPROVING A FIRST ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS AND PULASKI
COUNTY, ARKANSAS AND METROPLAN, AS TRUSTEE, DATED
OCTOBER 24, 1979
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The attached First Addendum to that certain agreement between the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, Pulaski County, Arkansas and Metroplan, as Trustee,
dated October 24, 1979 pertaining to the ownership and operation of the publicly
owned mass transportation system in the metropolitan area of Little Rock and other
areas of Pulaski County, Arkansas is hereby approved and the same is hereby incor-
porated herein by reference the same as though set out herein word for word.
The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized, acting for and on behalf of the
City of Little Rock to execute said First Addendum.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.

FIRST ADDENDUM
TO
AGREhMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF Ll'1"1'LE ROCK,
ARKANSAS, PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS, AND
METROPLAN, AS TRUSTEE
First Addendum to Agreement dated October 24, 1979 between the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, Pulaski County, Arkansas, and Metroplan, as Trustee, a public non-
profit corporation organized pursuant to the laws of the State of Arkansas, and
other public bodies operating in Pulaski County, State of .Arkansas, to provide
public transportation facilities and services in the metropolitan areas of Little
Rock and in other areas of Pulaski County, Arkansas, joining the City of North Little
Rock, Arkansas as a party to said Agreement.
WHEIEAS, the City of North Little Rock, Arkansas, by Resolution No. 1880 of its
City Council adopted July 7, 1980 elected to join with the City of Little Rock, and
Pulaski County, Arkansas in the ownership and operation of the publicly owned mass
transportation system provided for in that certain Agreement between the City of
Little Rock and Pulaski County, Arkansas dated October 24, 1979 and thus assume with
the City of Little Rock and Pulaski County, Arkansas joint financial responsibility
in providing mass transportation to the inhabitants of the City of Little Rock, the
City of North Little Rock, and other areas of Pulaski County, Arkansas.
NOW THEREFORE, the City of Little Rock, the City of North Little Rock, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, and Metroplan, as Trustee, by this Addendum, agree as follows:
1, The City of North Little Rock, Arkansas hereby joins as a party with the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas and Pulaski County, Arkansas to that Agreement dated October
24, 1979 to jointly provide public mass transportation facilities and services in the
metropolitan areas of Little Rock, North Little Rock, and other areas of Pulaski
County, Arkansas,
2, The Transit Policy Eoard provided for by Subsection D of Article IL in said
October 24, 1979 Agreement shall henceforth be composed of seven mnmbers, The City
of Little Rock, Arkansas shall appoint three (31 members, the City of North Little
Rock, Arkansas shall appoint two (2) members, and Pulaski County, Arkansas, shall
appoint two (21 members,
3, All references in the said October 24, 1979 Agreement pertaining to percentage
ownership in the current and future assets of the mass transportation system, and the
duties and responsibilities for capital funding, as well as funding for deficit

Arkansas, and the percentage amounts for each party shall be as follows:
City of Little Rock, Arkansas 50%
City of North Little Rock, Arkansas 25%
Pulaski County, Arkansas 25%
4. Except to the extent as herein expressly modified, each and all terms,
provisions and conditions of that certain agreement dated October 24, 1979 shall
remain effective and binding on all parties hereto,
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed this Addendum by their
duly authorized officers or agents as provided for by either resolutions or court
orders officially and legally adopted and/or decreed in quadruplicate originals on
this day of _, 1980,
