RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS , SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING
ON THE PETITION TO VACATE THE FIRST 94. 8 ' OF NORTH
STATE STREET BETWEEN BLOCKS 181 and 183 SOUTH OF ITS
DEAD END AT THE MISSOURI PACIFIC RIGHT OF WAY.
Whereas , a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , on the 10th
day of January 1980 , asking the Board of Directors to vacate
and abandon that portion of North State Street between Blocks
181 and 183 of the Original City of Little Rock for 94. 8'
South of the said street' s Dead End with the Missouri Pacific
Right of Way, as designated on the plat of said Original City
now appearing of record in Deed Book L , Page 490 , in the office
of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas , subject , however ,
to any public utility easements located in the said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . The hearing on said petition shall be held at
the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 7 : 30
o' clock P .M. , on the 4th day of March , 1980 .
SECTION 2 . The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by pub-
lication once a week for two(2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper
published in Pulaski County , Arkansas , and having general cir-
culation in the City of Little Rock.
