A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO MAKE AN APPLICATION FOR A GRANT FROM
THE INSTITUTE OF MUSEUM SERVICES FOR FUNDS
FOR THE ZOO PROGRAM; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , grant money could be used to support a Funding
Development Unit for the zoo ; and
WHEREAS , funding can be for as much as $35 , 000 . 00
and require no matching funds .
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . The City Manager is hereby authorized to
make an application for a grant from the Institute of Museum
Services for funds for the zoo program.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
