A RESOLUTION COMMENDING MAHLON A.
MARTIN FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
WHEREAS , Mahlon A. Martin has served the
citizens of the City of Little Rock for ten (10)
years ; and
WHEREAS , during his tenure with the City,
Mahlon A. Martin has combined a genuine regard
for others with a sincere desire to see every job
well done ; and
WHEREAS , his humanity and professionalism
have served as a guide and a standard of achieve-
ment for others ; and
WHEREAS , his regard for his fellow man
was exemplified not only in his work in City
Government but in the community as well ; and
WHEREAS , Mahlon A. Martin' s service as
Assistant City Manager and, subsequently, as
Deputy City Manager , will be missed by all those
fortunate enough to have worked with him; and
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE
BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . The Board of Directors , on
behalf of all the citizens of Little Rock, express
their warm and heartfelt thanks and gratitude to
Mahlon A. Martin for his dedicated service as
Deputy City Manager .
SECTION 2 . The Board of Directors do hereby
remind Mahlon A. Martin of the affection and respect
in which he is held by the members of the Board of
Directors , his fellow City employees and the citi-
zens of Little Rock.
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full
force and effect from and after its adoption.
