A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
THE PRIVATE SECTOR INITIATIVE PROGRAM CONTRACTUAL
DOCUMENTS ON BEHALF OF THE CENTRAL ARKANSAS CONSORTIUM;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS , a recent mandate by the U. S. Department of Labor
(Issuance No. 29-79) pertaining to the Private Sector Initiative
Program (PSIP) requires prime sponsors to implement planning
for the newly created program for fiscal year 1979 ; and
WHEREAS, prime sponsors are eligible to receive $25, 000
in advance funds for the implementation of the PSIP program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The City Manager is authorized to execute the
contractual documents on behalf of the Central Arkansas Consortium
for the Private Sector Initiative Program.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
