A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE ANNEXATION OF NW 1/4 OF
SW 1/4, SECTION 33 , TOWNSHIP 2 NORTH, RANGE 13 WEST,
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
WHEREAS, an order was duly rendered and entered by the County
Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas , on January 3 , 1979 , granting the
prayer of the petition filed in the office of the Clerk of said Court
on November 29 , 1978 , annexing to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas ,
the area described in said petition and order and hereinafter des-
cribed, a certified copy of said January 3 , 1979 , order having been
duly forwarded to the Board of Directors of Little Rock, Arkansas , by
the County Clerk of Pulaski County, Arkansas , as provided by law; and,
WHEREAS , more than thirty days have expired since said order of
the County Court of Pulaski County, Arkansas , was made and entered
annexing said area to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , and that no
person has given any notice or instituted any proceeding to have such
annexation prevented;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, that the said area so annexed, all
lying wholly within Pulaski County, Arkansas , to-wit :
Northwest Quarter (NW 1/4) of Southwest Quarter
(SW 1/4) , Section Thirty-three (33) , Township
Two (2) North, Range Thirteen (13) West , con-
taining 40 . 90 acres , more or less , including any
and all roads and rights-of-way existing thereon,
be and the same is hereby accepted and made a part and parcel of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas , as authorized and provided by law.
