WHEREAS, the Board of Directors on May 21, 1974 ,
created by Ordinance No. 12, 932, Riverdale Levee Improvement
District No. 134 designating therein R. D. Rawn, Thomas E.
Downie and R. A. Lile as Commissioners of such District; and
WHEREAS, R. D. Rawn subsequently resigned his position
as Commissioner of such Improvement District and Glen F.
Rogers, by Resolution No. 5, 775 of the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, was appointed Commissioner of such
District in place of R. D. Rawn; and,
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
Board of Directors that Thomas E. Downie died on May 13 ,
1978, and as a result thereof his position as Commissioner
of such Improvement District now is vacant, Now, Therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED, That Erwin D. Barger, a property
owner within Riverdale Levee Improvement District
No. 134, be, and he is hereby, appointed Commissioner
of such District in place of Thomas E. Downie, such
appointment to be effective upon Erwin D. Barger taking
the appropriate Oath of Office.
