A RESOLUTION FIXING THE DATE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON A
PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF ELM STREET IN THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK AND PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLICATION
OF NOTICE THEREOF .
WHEREAS , a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , on the 7th day of November ,
1978 , asking that the said Board of Directors vacate and abandon
the portion of Elm Street lying South of the South right-of-way
line of West 7th Street and North of the North right-of-way line
of 1-630 in the City of Little Rock, Arkansas described in said
petition, subject , however , to any public utility easements
located in said portion of Elm Street .
NOW THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . The hearing on said petition shall be held at the
meeting of the City of Little Rock Board of Directors in the Board
of Directors Chamber in the City Hall at 7 : 30 o ' clock P .M. on
February 6, 1979
SECTION 2 . The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice
of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once
a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in
Pulaski County, Arkansas , and having general circulation in the
City of Little Rock. The notice shall state the names of the persons
signing said petition, describe the portion of Elm Street to be
vacated and advise all persons that at the time and place fixed
1 herein, the Little Rock Board of Directors will hear and determine
whether said portion of Elm Street shall be vacated.
