A RESOLUTION CHANGING THE OFFICIAL NAME OF THE LITTLE
ROCK MUNICIPAL AIRPORT TO "LITTLE ROCK REGIONAL AIRPORT."
WHEREAS, The Little Rock Municipal Airport (Adams Field) has grown
during the past several years; and
WHEREAS, The Airport serves not only the City of Little Rock, but
indeed the entire surrounding Little Rock trade area; and
WHEREAS, the Greater Little Rock Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and
the Little Rock Airport Commission have requested that the name be changed
to The Greater Little Rock Regional Airport.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The official name of the Little Rock Municipal Airport is
hereby changed to Little Rock Regional Airport.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
