A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
DIRECT THE STAFF TO REVIEW THE SIGN ORDINANCE
AND PRESENT THE RESULTS OF SUCH TO THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS BY JULY 1979 .
WHEREAS , The Board of Directors is concerned that the
Sign Ordinance is fulfilling its purpose ; and
WHEREAS , a review by the City staff can determine if
such purpose is being met .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That the City Manager direct the staff to
review the Sign Ordinance to determine if its intended
purposes have been achieved and what has resulted from its
passage .
SECTION 2 . That such report be presented to the Board
of Directors at the first July 1979 meeting .
SECTION 3 . This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption .
