A RESOLUTION REQUESTING THAT CHASE MANHATTAN
BANK PURSUE VARIOUS ALTERNATIVES REGARDING
THE "CIRCUS BAZAAR" .
WHEREAS, the uncompleted building known as the Circus
Bazaar has been vacant for several years ; and
WHEREAS, the City has received numerous complaints
regarding the building ' s condition; and
WHEREAS , the building poses a potential health and safety
hazard to the citizens of Little Rock.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. That Chase Manhattan Bank pursue immediately
the demolition of the building or provide the City with plans
for completion and occupancy.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
