A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING DEDICATION DEEDS FROM THE
SIDNEY THOM FAMILY AND FROM RECTOR-PHILLIPS-MORSE;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the Sidney Thom family, who have conveyed parcels
of a tract for Gillam Park over the last three-year period,
desire to dedicate an additional parcel of land; and
WHEREAS, Rector-Phillips-Morse has submitted a dedication
deed for a tract of land at the intersection of University and
Evergreen Streets .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock hereby accepts the dedication deeds from the Thom family
and Rector-Phillips-Morse for lands more accurately described
in the deeds attached hereto.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.

SPECIAL WARRANTY DEED
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
THAT, Rector-Phillips-Morse, Inc . , as a gift to the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, does hereby grant, donate, dedicate, and
convey unto the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , its successors and
assigns forever, the following lands lying in the County of Pulaski
and the State of Arkansas, to-wit:
A tract of land in Section 31, T-2-N, R-12-W, Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas, being more particularly described as:
Beginning at the NW corner of the SE NW}, Section 31,
T-2-N, R-12-W, thence S 89° 17' 00" E, 124.23 feet;
thence S 0° 05' 52" E, 359.64 feet; thence S 89° 54' 08"
W, 25.00 feet; thence S 73° 55' 35" W, 150. 57 feet; thence

acres more or less .
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto the said Grantee and
unto its successors and assigns forever, with all the appurtenances
thereto belonging.
Grantee, as a part of the consideration hereof, does covenant
that it will permanently maintain and use said land for public
purposes .
The Grantor hereby covenants with said Grantee that it, will
forever warrant and defend the title to the said lands against all lawful
claims , or encumbrances done or suffered by it but against none
other.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, Grantor has executed this deed

I THAT WE, Sidney M. Thom and Penelope B. , his wife, as a gift to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, do hereby grant, donate, dedicate, and convey unto
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, its successors and assigns forever, the
following lands lying in the County of Pulaski and the State of Arkansas, to
wit:
An undivided two-fifths (2/5) interest in a part of the SW 14,
NW 4i Section 24, T-1-N, R-12-W, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
More particularly described as follows:
All of that part of the SW 14, NW 4f Section 24, T-1-N,
R-12-W, lying west of Gillam Park Road, except the north
250' thereof, containing 17 acres more or less.
TO HAVE AND HOLD the same unto the said Grantee and unto its successors and
assigns forever, with all the appurtenances thereto belonging.
Grantee, as a part of the consideration hereof, does covenant that it will
permanently maintain and use said land for public purposes.
We, the Grantors, hereby covenant with Grantee that we will forever warrant
and defend the title to the said lands against all lawful claims.
And I, Penelope B. Thom in consideration of the above mentioned and set forth,
hereby release and relinquish unto the said Grantee all my rights of dower and
homestead in and to the said lands.

B. Thom, to me well know, and in the absence of her said husband, declared that
she had, of her own free will, executed the foregoing conveyance and signed and
sealed the relinquishment of dower and homestead therein expressed, for the
purposes and consideration therein contained and set forth, without compulsion
and/or undue influence of her said husband.
