A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO APPLY
FOR LEAA FUNDS FOR AN ARMED ROBBERY PREVENTION PRO-
GRAM; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, LEAA funds are available for an Armed Robbery Pre-
vention Program; and
WHEREAS, the project is designed to reduce armed robberies
by the placement of electronic camera equipment in businesses
with a high risk of robbery; and
WHEREAS, the City ' s cost of the project would be $909 . 00
of the total cost of $18 , 179 . 00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1 . The City Manager is hereby authorized to apply
for LEAA funds for an Armed Robbery Prevention Program.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
