A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THAT THE WORK FOR THE WOODROW
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROJECT BEGIN AND PROCEED
ACCORDING TO THE SPECIFIC ENGINEERING DESIGN; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, on February 21, 1978 the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, included in the Fourth Year (1978-1979) Community Development Block Grant
Plan, the paving, curbing and guttering of Woodrow Street with width of twenty-
seven (27) feet, from Seventh Street (at the Woodrow Exit of I-630) to Third
Street; and
WHEREAS, a completed design of the proposal, which called for a large
underground drainage ditch, was presented to and explained to, residents of
the area on September 24, 1978 at a meeting at Woodruff School; and
WHEREAS, the project is ready and work may be begun,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The Community Development Block Grant Plan of paving, curbing
and guttering of Woodrow Street should be put into operation according to the
completed design as soon as possible.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
