A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS APPROVING THE DEDICATION OF BENCHES, PLANTER BOXES, BANNER
ARMS AND TRASH RECEPTACLES TO THE METROCENTRE BY THE LITTLE ROCK
HOUSING AUTHORITY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, in connection with the plan for the Central Little Rock Urban
Renewal Project, ARK R-12, approximately $75,000 was expended for benches,
planter boxes, banner arms and trash receptacles for the Metrocentre; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Housing Authority was authorized to expend
said funds for this purpose; and
WHEREAS, the Central Little Rock Urban Renewal Project, ARK R-12 is now
being closed out and the Little Rock Housing Authority has been granted
permission by the Department of Housing and Urban Development to dedicate
ownership of said items to Metrocentre,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas
hereby approves the dedication to the Metrocentre of benches, planter boxes,
banner arms and trash receptacles , permanently installed in the Metrocentre
of downtown Little Rock, for the use, benefit and pleasure of visitors
thereto.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and
after its adoption.
