HomeMy WebLinkAbout5968 pit RESOLUTION NO 5,968 A RESOLUTION RENEWING THE WRECKER SERVICE FRANCHISE FOR WRECKER SERVICE WITHIN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS . SECTION 1 . That certain franchise to provide and maintain towing and storage facilities for those vehicles which the police authorities and other official authorities order removed from the streets and other public areas and ways of the City of Little Rock granted to Charles W. Tracy, Trek ; Pecker Service, Robert L. Burns , Barber Street EXXON and A. R. Pendergrass , Penney ' s Wrecker Service is hereby renewed for a period of twelve months . Rates for such services are as follows : I. TOWING A. Vehicles smaller than 1 ton towed from one location in City to any other shall be charged no more than a total of $30 . 00 B. For service as in (A) but second and additional wrecker needed per car 30 .00 C. Second tow from operations base to anywhere in City at owner' s request 25. 00 D . Vehicles 1-Ton and over except tractor - trailer, first tow and second tow from anywhere to anywhere in the City 50 .00 E. Tractor-trailer vehicles first and second tow from anywhere in the City to any other location in the City 100 .00 In addition to fees set out above , the franchisees agree 4 to make service trips for tire reapirs or changes on City owned vehicles for $7 . 50 II . STORAGE: A. Per day after the first 24 hours on all vehicles , except tractor-trailers $2 . 00 B. Tractor-trailers shall be stored per 24 hours or any part thereof 4 .00 4 -2- SECTION 2 .
