A RESOLUTION GRANTING A FRANCHISE TO PEOPLES
SAVINGS & LOAN ASSOCIATION TO PERMIT PLANTING
OF TREES IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. Peoples Savings & Loan Association of Little Rock
is hereby granted a franchise to permit planting of trees
between the curb and sidewalk on the south side of East Third
Street, east of Scott Street, an area more particularly de-
scribed as follows :
A part of the right of way for East 3rd Street
described as follows :
Beginning at the Southeast corner of the inter-
section of the East right of way line of Scott
Street with the South right of way line of East
3rd Street; thence East 140 ' to the alley; thence
North 12 '+ to the South curb line of East 3rd
Street; thence West 140 ' to a point on the East
right of way line of Scott Street; thence South
12 ' to the point of beginning, enclosing an
area of 1,680 s .f.
SECTION 2 . This franchise is granted conditioned that the trees
will be removed at the expense of the franchisee at such time as
the City of Little Rock determines that the public need for such
removal exists and the property shall be restored to its condition
prior to the planting of such trees .
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
