RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, SETTING THE
DATE OF HEARING ON THE PETITION TO VACATE
PARTS OF ROCK AND 30TH STREETS BORDERING AND
WITHIN THE MARY ANN, BIDDLE, AND QUAPAW
ADDITIONS TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , on the 10th
day of April 1978, asking the Board of Directors to
vacate and abandon parts of 30th and Rock Streets within and
bordering the Mary Ann, Biddle, and Quapaw Additions to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, as designated on the plats of said
Additions now appearing of record in Deed Book AB, Page 334,
Plat Book 2 , Page 37, and Plat Book 1, Page 75 , in the
office of the Recorder of Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject,
however, to any public utility easements located in said
streets.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held at
the meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at
7:30 o' clock P.M. , on the 18th day of July
1978.
SECTION 2 . The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice
of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication
once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper
published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having general
circulation in the City of Little Rock.
