A RESOLUTION AMENDING SECTION 5 OF RESOLUTION
NO . 5858; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . Subsection A of Section 5 of Resolution No. 5858
of the Board of Directors adopted December 1, 1977 is hereby amended
to read as follows :
"A. Annexations should be limited to parcels
greater than five (5) acres in size or all
of any area which is an island or out-parcel
surrounded by the City.
SECTION 2 . Further, Section 5 of said Resolution No. 5858
is amended by adding subsections K and L thereto, as follows :
K. No municipal services will be provided to an
island of land created by annexation until the
entire island has been annexed.
L. Contracts for reciprocal fire service will not
be honored within islands of lands created
by annexation.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
