A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE PROJECT OF REDEVELOP-
MENT OF THE RED CARPET INN TO HIGH RISE APARTMENTS
FOR THE ELDERLY AND DECLARING SAME A HIGH PRIORITY
PROJECT; AMENDING THE 4th YEAR HOUSING ASSISTANCE
PLAN OF THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PRO-
JECTS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas hereby supports the project of redevelopment of the Red
Carpet Inn to High Rise Apartments for the elderly and declares
said project to be one of the highest priority.
SECTION 2 . The "Housing Assistance Plan" of the 4th Year
Community Development Block Grant projects is hereby amended to
provide for 150 units of Housing & Urban Development Section 8
Housing Assistance, to be used specifically for the Red Carpet
High Rise Apartments project.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .
