A RESOLUTION RENEWING FOR THE YEAR 1978
AMBULANCE SERVICE OPERATORS FRANCHISES
FOR A-1 AMBULANCE SERVICE, INC. AND MEDIC
VAC AMBULANCE, INC. WITHIN THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK; AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF
THE NECESSARY PERMITS ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , A_-1 Ambulance Service , Inc. and Medic Vac Ambulance,
Inc. have applied for renewal of their ambulance service operators
franchises for the year 1978 within the City of Little Rock; and
WHEREAS , the said A-1 Ambulance Service, Inc. and Medic Vac
Ambulance, Inc. have complied with all provisions of the Code of
Ordinances pertaining to renewal of said Franchises; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors to renew
said franchises for the year 1978.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The franchises heretofore awardedtc A-1 Ambulance
Service, Inc. , and Medic Vac Ambulance, Inc. as ambulance service
operators in the City of Little Rock are hereby renewed for the year
1978 as follows:
A-1 Ambulance will be the primary responder
north of 65th Street, and Medic Vac will be
primary responder south of 65th Street. They
shall respond to any direct calls they receive
whatever the location and notify the Resource
Coordination Center of the call. The Resource
Coordination Center will determine the closest
ambulance to the scene of an accident and dis-
patch it when the accident is in close proximity
tc the boundary line.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
