A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE LITTLE ROCK LIBRARY
BOARD OF TRUSTEES AND TO THE CENTRAL ARKANSAS LIBRARY SYSTEM
BOARD OF TRUSTEES, AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby appointed as a member of the Little Rock
Library Board of Trustees to fill a vacancy created by the resignation of Rabbi Ira
E. Sanders whose term expires January 1, 1980.
SECTION 2. The following named persons are hereby appointed as members of the
Little Rock Library Board of Trustees for such terms as they may have as members of
the Board of Trustees of the Central Arkansas Library System pursuant to an Inter-
local Cooperation Agreement authorized by Resolution 5,850 of the Board of Directors
adopted November 15, 1977 to which latter Board of Trustees these named individuals
are likewise being appointed in Section 3 of this Resolution:
Mrs. Joe Brown
Mrs. Raymond P. Miller
SECTION 3. The following named persons are hereby appointed as members of the
Board of Trustees of the Central Arkansas Library System authorized by Interlocal
Cooperation Agreement pursuant to Resolution 5,850 of the Board of Directors adopted
November 15, 1977 for terms consistent with the provisions of subsection A of
Section IV of said Interlocal Cooperation Agreement:
Booker Worthen Mrs. Joe Brown
Ralph Patterson William H. Thompson
Fred Darragh Mrs. Raymond P. Miller
SECTION 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
