A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO MAKE
APPLICATION FOR LEAA FUNDS TO BE USED FOR EQUIPMENT
FOR AN INTELLIGENCE GATHERING AND DISSEMINATING
PROGRAM; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized and directed
to submit an application to the Arkansas Commission on Crime and
Law Enforcement for LEAA Grant funds in the amount of $19 ,405 . 00
to be used in a one year program to purchase equipment for use in
an Intelligence Gathering and Disseminating Program to prevent and
solve criminal activity resulting from organized crime. Of the
said sum, $970 . 00 is the amount to be provided by the City of
Little Rock, $970 . 00 to be provided by the State of Arkansas , and
the remaining $17 , 465 . 00 in Federal Funds.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
