A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR STORM
DRAINAGE CONSTRUCTION; AUTHORIZING PAYMENT;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
WHEREAS , invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids received
pursuant thereto according to law for the construction of storm
drainage improvements in the Woodruff School Area; and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsive and responsible bid has been
determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors to award
a contract for such storm drainage work.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . A contract is hereby awarded to W.M. Graves and Sons
of Pine Bluff, Arkansas for storm drainage improvements in the Woodruff
School Area at a bid price of $289 , 719 . 58. Funds for said storm
drainage improvements have been provided for in the Community Develop-
ment Block Grant Program (Third Year) Grant No . B-77-MC-05-0004 .
SECTION 2 . Upon completion of the work authorized herein and
from time to time as necessary the City Manager and Director of
Finance are hereby authorized to issue the necessary warrant or
warrants in payment of said construction price . The construction
work shall comply at all times with bid specifications .
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
