A RESOLUTION RENEWING CONTRACTS WITH GULF OIL
COMPANY AND AMERICAN OIL COMPANY FOR GASOLINE
PURCHASES DURING THE YEAR 1978; AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. Those certain contracts existing between the City
of Little Rock and Gulf Oil Company and American Oil Company are
hereby renewed for the calendar year 1978 . These suppliers must
follow Federal Energy Administration Allocation and price regulations
and adhere to their guidelines . These guidelines assure fulfillment
of City gasoline requirements at controlled prices , which may be
increased and decreased only by the cost of crude oil .
SECTION 2 . All purchases authorized herein shall at all times
comply with bidding specifications . Upon receipt of such purchases
or from time to time as necessary, the City Manager and Director of
Finance are hereby authorized and directed to issue the necessary
warrants in payment of the contract prices .
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
