A RESOLUTION IN OPPOSITION TO THE PROPOSED
CONGRESSIONAL AIR TRANSPORTATION REGULATORY
REFORM ACT OF 1977 ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1 . The Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock has determined that deregulation of the United States Air
Transportation System, as would result with the passage of the
Air Transportation Regulatory Reform Act of 1977 now under con-
sideration by the United States Congress, would be detrimental
to the City of Little Rock and the State of Arkansas, and
therefore , encourages Arkansas ' representatives in the House
of Representatives and the United States Senate to oppose said
legislation.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
