A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY ATTORNEY TO TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION,
INCLUDING THE INSTITUTION OF LITIGATION, TO
PROTECT THE INTEREST OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK AS SUCH PERTAINS TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF
CERTAIN PROPERTY; DECLARING AN EMERGENCY;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City Attorney of the City of Little Rock, Ar-
kansas, is hereby authorized and directed to take whatever action
may be necessary, including the institution of litigation, to protect
the City 's interest in public health, safety and welfare , as such
pertains to the attempted development of certain property located
within the zoning authority of the City of Little Rock which is
currently being developed without compliance with the zoning ordi-
nances of the City of Little Rock, said property being more particu-
larly described as follows:
Part of the SA SE4 of Section 21, Township 2
North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas ,
described as : Begin at the Southwest corner of
the said SA SE4 of Section 21 and run thence
N 0° 37 ' 30" W along the center line of a county
road (60 foot right of way) 50 . 46 feet to a point;
thence N 89° 22 ' 30" E 30 feet to the point of
beginning, being the intersection of the East right
of way line of said county road with the West right
of way line of Rodney Parham Road; thence N 0° 37 ' 30 " W
along the East line of said county road 933 . 47 feet to
a point; thence S 45° 37 ' 10" E 660 .13 feet to a point
on the West line of Rodney Parham Road; thence S 44°
22 ' 50" W along the West line of Rodney Parham Road
660 feet to the point of beginning, containing
5. 001 acres , more or less .
SECTION 2 . Due to the attempted development of the aforesaid
property, an emergency is hereby declared to exist and this Resolution
shall be in full force and effect immediately upon its adoption and
approval.
