A RESOLUTION AMENDING GUIDELINES IN THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT HOUSING REHABILITATION
PROGRAM; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the Third Year Community Development Block Grant
Housing Rehabilitation Program Guidelines call for low interest
loans in certain concentrated code enforcement areas for reha-
bilitation purposes be made only to owner-occupants; and
WHEREAS, in an effort to interest absentee landowners to
rehabilitate property in these areas , it is determined that if
such absentee landowners were eligible for said low interest
loans that they would apply for such loans and rehabilitate
their properties .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . Those certain Guidelines in the Community
Development Block Grant Housing Rehabilitation Program are
hereby amended to allow absentee landowners , as well as owner-
occupants to be eligible for low interest loans for rehabili-
tation purposes under said program.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
