A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN OFFER MADE BY NORTH AMERICAN
METALS TO BUY A TRACT OF LAND IN THE LITTLE ROCK PORT
INDUSTRIAL PARK DISTRICT; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO SIGN A WARRANTY DEED IN FAVOR OF NORTH
AMERICAN METALS UPON PAYMENT OF THE TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the Little Rock Port Authority pursuant to authority
granted to it has accepted an offer of North American Metals to buy
a plot of land being 6 . 065 acres more or less for the consideration
of One Hundred Twenty One Thousand Three Hundred and 00/100 Dollars
($121, 300 . 00) . Said plot being a part of the Little Rock Port
Industrial Park District identified as Tract A, Area 103:
A tract of land situated in the North 2, of the NE4
of Section 21, Township 1 North, Range 11 West Pulaski
County, Arkansas being more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at the NE corner of said Section 21 thence
N 88° 47 ' 31" W, 388 . 47 feet along the centerline of
Frazier Pike; thence S 01° 33 ' 10" W, 60 feet to the
South right-of-way line of Frazier Pike and the Point
of Beginning; thence S 01° 33 ' 10" W, 294 . 00 feet; thence
N 88° 47 ' 31" W, 900 . 46 feet to the East right-of-way line
of Fourche Dam Pike; thence along said East right-of-way
line N 01° 33 ' 10" E, 244 . 29 feet; thence continuing along
the street right-of-way along a curve to the right having
a radius of 50 .0 feet and a chord bearing N 46° 22 ' 50" E,
70 .50 feet to the South right-of-way line of Frazier Pike
thence S 88° 47 ' 31" E, 850 . 75 feet to the Point of Beginning
and containing 6 .065 acres more or less .
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock hereby
approves the sale of the above property to North American Metals for
the consideration aforesaid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The Mayor of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, is
hereby authorized to execute a Warranty Deed to be prepared by the
City Attorney and the City Clerk is directed to attest the same
conveying the described land to North American Metals .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
