A RESOLUTION PERTAINING TO THE MUSEUM OF
SCIENCE AND NATURAL HISTORY; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. There is hereby established a moratorium on any final
action pertaining to the position of Director of the Museum of Science
and Natural History during the period of sixty (60) days salary con-
tinuation provided for by the Director ' s contract.
SECTION 2 . The following past presidents of the Museum of Science
and Natural History are hereby appointed to serve as a Mediation Com-
mittee to study the structure, duties , authority and responsibilities
of the Board of Trustees and also its relationship to, as well as
governing personnel of, the Museum:
Mr. Tad Phillips
Mr. Lynn Wassell
Mr. Ronald May
Mrs . Jane Faust
Dr. Gary Heidt
Mr. Robert Chowning.
SECTION 3. The Arkansas Arts Center is hereby requested to instruct
its administrative staff to study and establish and recommend budgetary
and accounting procedures for the Museum of Science and Natural History.
SECTION 4 . All actions herein directed to be taken and recorunen-
dations to be reported to the Board of Directors shall be completed
within the sixty (60) day salary continuation period provided for by
the Director ' s contract .
SECTION 5 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
