A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING CERTAIN LANDS WHICH WERE
ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK BY PULASKI
COUNTY COURT ORDER DATED JULY 25, 1977 .
WHEREAS, on the 25th day of July, 1977 the County Court entered
its Order annexed certain lands to the City of Little Rock described
as follows:
Part of the Southeast Quarter of the Northeast Quarter of
Section 16 and part of the Southwest Quarter of the North-
west Quarter of Section 15, all in Township 1 North, Range
11 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, more particularly des-
cribed as follows:
Starting at the SW corner of the SE4 of the NE Quarter of
Section 16, T-1-N, R-11-W, Pulaski County, Arkansas; thence
N 01° 30 ' 32" E along the W line of the SE4 of the NE4 a
distance of 279 . 82 feet to a point; thence N 78° 43 ' 53"
E a distance of 304 . 14 feet to a point on the southerly
proposed right-of-way line of the East Belt Freeway for
the point of beginning; thence N 63° 00 ' 11" E along said
proposed right-of-way line a distance of 203 . 9 feet to a
point; thence N 58° 41 ' E along said proposed right-of-way
line a distance of 366 . 9 feet to a point; thence N 64° 50 '
E along said proposed right-of-way line a distance of 204 . 0
feet to a point; thence •N 74° 09 ' E along said proposed right-
of-way line a distance of 516 .6 feet to a point; thence N 66°
52 ' E along said proposed right-of-way line a distance of 426 . 1
feet to a point; thence N 59 21 ' 26" E along said proposed
right-of-way line a distance of 319 . 16 feet to a point; thence
S 36° 44 ' 33" E a distance of 65 .66 feet to a point; thence
S 39° 15 ' 35" E a distnace of 200 . 0 feet to a point; thence
S 39° 48 ' 07" E a distance of 163 . 09 feet to a point; thence
S 30° 08 ' 41" W a distance of 246 . 3 feet to a point; thence
N 750 56 ' 25" W a distance of 231. 58 feet to a point; thence
S 78° 43 ' 58" W a distance of 1799 . 77 feet to the point of
beginning and containing 12 . 34 acres, more or less .
WHEREAS , such lands are adjacent to the Little Rock Port
Industrial Park and can be used by the Little Rock Port Authority
as industrial sites .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors hereby accepts said annexation
and said land is declared to be a part of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
