RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF- LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS , SETTING THE DATE OF HEARING ON THE PETITION
TO VACATE 42ND STREET IN BLOCK 94 and 95, JOHN BARROW'S
ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS , a petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , on the 5th day of May
1977, asking the Board of Directors to vacate and abandon all of 42nd
Street in Block 94 and 95 of John Barrow' s Addition to the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas , as designated on the plat of said Addition now appearing
of record in Deed Book 1 , Page 55, in the office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County, Arkansas , subject , however, to any public utility ease-
ments located in said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . The hearing on said petition shall be held at the
meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 7:30 o , clock
P.M. , on the 6th day of September 1977.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such
hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for
two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski County,
Arkansas , and having general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
