A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR A HEARING ON A PETITION TO
VACATE, ABANDON AND CLOSE A PORTION OF EAST FIFTH STREET,
AS PLATTED, BETWEEN BLOCKS 16 AND 17, GARLAND ADDITION TO
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 16th day of June, 1977, asking the
Board of Directors to vacate, abandon and close that portion of East Fifth
Street, as platted, located between Blocks 16 and 17, Garland Addition to
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, subject, however to any public utility
easements located in said street.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The hearing on said Petition shall be held at the meeting
of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P. M. , on the
6th day of September, 1977.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such
hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week for
two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski County,
Arkansas, and having general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
