WHEREAS , the City holds easements for the use and bene-
fit of the Little Rock Municipal Water Works fifty (50 ' ) feet
in width , between Lake Maumelle and Reservoir Road in Pulaski
County , Arkansas; and
WHEREAS , there is an existing forty-eight (48 " ) inch
pipeline in the easement and the Little Rock Municipal Water
Works plans an additional seventy two (72") inch pipeline to
be installed in the same easement; and
WHEREAS , at some locations additional permanent easements
would be required for the two pipelines ; and
WHEREAS , more efficient use of the land could be made if
the easements were shifted slightly resulting in benefits to
the City and the property owner.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors
of the City of Little Rock , pursuant to the request of the Board
of Commissioners of the Little Rock Municipal Water Works , that
the Mayor and City Clerk be , and they are , hereby authorized to
execute agreements to exchange existing easements with property
owners for other easements fifty (50 ' ) feet in width to accommo-
date the two pipelines .

1977 .
