A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AN OFFER MADE BY ERSHIG'S INC.
TO BUY A TRACT OF LAND IN THE LITTLE ROCK PORT INDUSTRIAL
PARK DISTRICT; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY CLERK TO
SIGN A WARRANTY DEED IN FAVOR OF ERSHIG'S INC. UPON PAY-
MENT OF THE TOTAL PURCHASE PRICE AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS , the Little Rock Port Authority pursuant to authority
granted to it has accepted an offer of Ershig ' s Inc. to buy a plot
of land being 7 . 23 acres more or less for the consideration of
One Hundred Forty Thousand and 00/100 ($140 ,000 . 00) . Said plot
being a part of the Little Rock Port Industrial Park District
identified as Tract E, Area 104 :
A parcel of land located in the SE4, SE4 of Section 16 ,
T-1-N, R-11-W, Pulaski County, Arkansas, being in the
Little Rock Port Industrial Park Addition to the City
of Little Rock, Arkansas, and being more particulary
described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Section 16;
thence N 01° 38 ' 26" E, 60 .00 feet to the north right-of-
way line of Frazier Pike; thence N 88° 44 ' 48" W, 387. 83
feet along said north right-of-way line of Frazier Pike;
thence N 010 30 ' 52" E 6 feet to the Point of
Beginning; thence N 88 25 ' 08" W, 900 .00 feet to the
east right-of-way line of Fourche Dam Pike; thence N 01°
30 ' 52" E, 350 .00 feet along said east right-of-way line;
thence S 88° 25 ' 08" E , 900 . 00 feet; thence S 01° 30 ' 52"
W, 350 .00 feet to the Point of Beginning and containing
7 .23 acres, more or less .
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock hereby
approves the sale of the above property to Ershig' s Inc. for the con-
sideration aforesaid.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The Mayor of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, is
hereby authorized to execute a Warranty Deed to be prepared by the
City Attorney and the City Clerk is directed to attest the same
conveying the described land to Ershig ' s Inc.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
