A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A CERTAIN OFFER TO BUY A PARCEL
OF LAND OWNED BY THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK BY McGEORGE
EQUIPMENT RENTAL COMPANY IN CONSIDERATION OF THE CONVEYANCE
TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK CERTAIN OTHER LANDS HEREINAFTER
DESCRIBED SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL OF TITLE BY THE CITY
ATTORNEY'S OFFICE; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
WARRANTY DEED THERETO AND DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO
PREPARE THE NECESSARY LEGAL DOCUMENTS; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . McGeorge Equipment Rental Company has offered to
acquire from the City of Little Rock the NWT of the NE4, Section 26,
R-12-W, T-1-N, Pulaski County, Arkansas in consideration for such it
has offered to the City of Little Rock several parcels of land des-
cribed as follows :
6392 feet North and South by 852 2/3 feet East and West,
West end of the North Half of the Northwest Quarter of
the Northwest Quarter of Section Twenty-two (22) ,
Township one (1) North, Range Twelve (12) West in
the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas ,
subject to easements and rights of way existing or of
record.
The West 852 2/3 feet of the North Half of the
Northwest Quarter of the Northwest Quarter of
Section Twenty-two (22) , Township One (1) North,
Range Twelve (12) West in the City of Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas .
All that part of the South Half of the Southwest
Quarter of Section Sixteen (16) , Township One
(1) North, Range Twelve (12) West, lying West
of the thread of Fourche Creek and South of a
line that divides the North Half and South Half
of the South Half of the Southwest Quarter of
Section Sixteen (16) , Pulaski County, Arkansas,
subject to easement and restrictions of record
containing 36 . 7 acres , more or less .
All of the Northwest Quarter of Section
Twenty-one (21) , Township One (1) North,
Range Twelve (12) West, lying North and
West of the thread of the South fork of
Fourche Creek; Subject, however, to any
easements and rights of way existing
or of record.

That part of the Fractional Northwest Quarter of Section
Twenty-three (23) , Township One (1) North, Range Twelve
(12) West (Lying both East and West of the Quapaw Line) ,
being all that part of the Northwest Quarter of said
Section Twenty-three (23) lying South and East of the lands
conveyed by deed executed August 18 , 1953 , by Kurt Ketscher
and Lillie Ketscher, his wife, as Grantors , to Grover T. Owens ,
Agent, as Grantee, of record in Book 521 at page 590 of the
Deed Records of Pulaski County, Arkansas , which said lands
were subsequently conveyed by deed executed September 14,
1953 , by Grover T. Owens , Agent, and Ruby Johnson Owens, his
wife, as Grantors , to Big Rock Stone & Material Company, as
Grantee, of record in Book 523 at page 544 of the Deed Records
of Pulaski County, Arkansas ;
That part of the Fractional West Half of the Northwest Quarter,
West of the Quapaw Line, in Section Twenty-three (23) ,
Township One (1) North, Range Twelve (12) West, lying South
of the center line of Fourche Bayou and North of the lands
conveyed by deed executed August 18 , 1953, by Kurt Ketscher
and Lillie Ketscher, his wife, as Grantors , to Grover T.
Owens , Agent, as Grantee, of record in Book 521 at page 590
of the Deed Records of Pulaski County, Arkansas;
LESS AND EXCEPT that portion thereof owned by McGeorge
Contracting Co. , Inc. , and that portion being the right of
way for U.S . Highway No . 65 ;
ALSO LESS AND EXCEPT that part of the Northeast Quarter of
the Northwest Quarter of Section 23, Township 1 North, Range
12 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas , more particularly described
as follows :
Starting at the Southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of
the Southwest Quarter of Section 14 ; thence North 88°01 ' West
along the South line thereof a distance of 375 . 6 feet to a
point on the proposed southerly right of way line of the East
Belt Freeway for the point of beginning; thence South 36023 ' 32"
West along said proposed right of way line a distance of 223 . 6
feet to a point on the existing northerly right of way line of
the Missouri Pacific Railroad; thence North 150 57 ' East a distance
of 189 . 9 feet to a point on the South line of said Southeast
Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of Section 14 ; thence South
88001 ' East along said South line a distance of 80 . 5 feet to
the point of beginning and containing 0. 17 acre, more or less .
SECTION 2 . The offer of McGeorge Equipment Rental Company is
hereby accepted subject to approval of the title to the lands to
be conveyed to the City of Little Rock by the City Attorney and the
Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a Warranty Deed to the property
described hereinabove to be conveyed to McGeorge Equipment Rental
Company and the City Clerk is authorized to attest same .
SECTION 3 . The City Attorney ' s Office is hereby directed to
take whatever action is necessary in order to cause the parcels of
property herein identified to be exchanged subject to the limitations
of this Resolution.

SECTION 4 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
